Aromatherapy involves the use of essential oils and its beneficial effect is achieved both by AIR, thus smelling the gullible rooms and the use of enviromental diffuser, objects, and clothing; whether through the SKIN, with local applications of the essences and through massages.
The characteristic of aromatherapy is that the olfactory nerve carries its impulses directly to the thalamus and the limbic system, so it directly affects the emotions. Essences are therefore able to act both physically and emotionally, and some define them as "the gates of the spirit".
They are used mostly for coughing, colds, stress, sleep difficulties, inflammation, memory and much more ....
The most popular for example are Tea Tree essential oil, Lavender, Rosemary, Lemon and Thyme, each with multiple effects!
